There are three main factors i.e. material removal rate, tool wear rate and micro hardness, based on which the comparison between the electrodes has been made. It was observed that by using composite material tool electrode significantly increases the material removal rate and decreases the tool wear to some extent so that the tool can be used for larger time on the work piece. Also by comparing the results of micro hardness, it has been seen that there can be significant increase in the surface finish of the workpiece. 108 pp. Englisch.
