Octavo. 132, [4] pages. Bound in publisher's green pictorial paper covered boards. Letterpress printing. Collection of eleven essays by various "outdoor" editors, three of which were published here for the first time. Three small hand corrections in ink on the "Biographical Tippets" page. Includes a loosely laid in prospectus for the book and a tipped in bookmark with an attached feather for a fly. A manuscript note attached to the front pastedown identifies the book as having belonged to Judith Bowman (the famous book dealer, specializing in fishing and hunting.) . Corners and spine ends lightly bumped, minor smudges to outer edge of text block. A beautiful exemplar of hand composition and overall book craft. Very good. HFP-705. Signed.
