Eric has inserted (tipped in and also loosely inserted) several related illustrations and articles including quite fascinatingly, Bell & Hyman's flyer in which they announce that 'Drawings of British Plants' is nearing completion. Some spotting to fore-edge of text block o/w. a fine hardback in vg. plus dw. Stella Ross-Craig, who died in February 2006, is said to be the finest and most comprehensive illustrator of British Flora, described by Wilfred Blunt as 'unrivalled' in her field. Her 'Drawings of British Plants' took 26 years to complete and comprises 1,306 plates.
