Dustwrappers, eight volume set of a standard work on British plants, previously issued in parts and now published as a set for the first time. The drawings are renown for their botanical accuracy and importance in recording detailed structures such as flowers, fruits, seeds and other parts. This is a very bright and crisp set. Light partial sunning to the wrapper spines, not affecting the legibility of the titles etc, otherwise very clean and sharp. Fine in near fine wrappers. A heavy set of books weighing c8000g when suitably parcelled, thus exceeding the default weight of 1000g for the postage quotation, and invoking a request for the extra postage at cost at time of order ( or can be supplied on request ) if to be sent overseas or by UK post.
