A new teaching alternative for the EJA public is described, taking into account the specifications of this type of teaching. In addition to the proposal, a general overview of the history of Distance Education in Brazil is presented, including the links with Youth and Adult Education, as well as an investigation into the profile of the students. This study focuses on constructivism as a theoretical support for learning, based on the ideas of scholars who have shown that knowledge can occur autonomously and meaningfully. The discussion of this proposal is subdivided into 4 different themes: 1) how to assess in a distance learning course; 2) the course plan drawn up for a distance learning course; 3) discussion of the platform used and; 4) the language adopted on the platform.
