In the second case, the author provides a detailed analysis involving mixed boundary conditions and determines the various coefficients using edge conditions, jump conditions, and boundary conditions on the conducting face. The book also discusses the effect of obliquity on the reflection coefficient and radiation pattern under various conditions.
