However, a procedure based on the concept of direct minimization of entropy has shown satisfactory results in determining such points of operation. Such methodology was based essentially on mass and enthalpy balances, besides entropy balance, taking into account the kinetic relations of the chemical reactions involved among other thermodynamic relations. The results obtained proved to be easy to understand and applicable. 60 pp. Englisch.
