Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book delves into the amorous entanglements of 16th-century Florence, Italy, narrating tales of forbidden love, deceit, and the yearning for freedom. Amidst the city's vibrant streets and opulent palazzi, the author explores the complexities of human desire, the struggle against societal constraints, and the transformative power of passion. Through the intertwining stories of noblemen, courtesans, artists, and merchants, the book offers a nuanced examination of Renaissance society, its customs, and its hypocrisies. It delves into the tension between personal fulfillment and social duty, the allure of illicit encounters, and the enduring search for genuine connection. Ultimately, the book highlights the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity, showcasing how love can both liberate and ensnare those who dare to embrace it. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. Couverture rigide. Adams, Catalogue of Books printed in the continent of Europe, P-1098 et C-252. Universal Short Title Catalogue (USTC), n°848387 et 817958. …

Condition: Good. in-8, ff. 78, (1 bianco presente, manca altro f. bianco), legatura coeva in pergamena floscia, note ms. al piatto anteriore, in astuccio m. pelle e ang. con tit. e filetti oro al dorso. Dedica dello stampatore A. Arrivabene a Giovanni Soranzo datata 15 novembre 1540. Ottimo esemplare, puro e genuino. Ediz. mancante a Regenstein. Clubb 689. Allacci 55. Soleinne 4585: «Edition très rare». Salvioli 209. BMC 513. Adams P-1100.…

Rilegato. Condition: buono. In-8, cc. 79, (1). Segnatura: A8-K8. Bibliografia: Gamba, 1574. Allacci, p. 55. Poggiali, 66 (altra edizione). Mango, 44.…
