The book is nicely illustrated and opens with a section of 37 plates and also includes many drawings and diagrams throughout the text. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The hard covers are slightly dust-dulled and the gilt titles a bit faded, but it is still handsome. There are some tiny smudges on the spine.
