Add to basketPaperback. Condition: Used; Good. This politically charged title isn't afraid of asking the difficult questions. Five nuclear powers - the US, Russia, Britain, France and China - today possess weapons, more of less developed as destructive as the Flood. Between them an uneasy balance of power exists. But what if other countries are able and tempted to contruct nuclear weapons? The author of this book (Leonard Beaton) is no prophet of woe. He gives a cool assesment that admits the cheerful belief that only the giant powers can afford to construct realistic nuclear forces. But his book stresses the sombre truth that nuclear power is contagious and that biology offers no evidence of survival. Title: Must the Bomb Spread? Author: Leonard Beaton Publisher: Pelican Publication Date: 1966 Format: Softcover Condition: This book is in good condition for its age other than some minor signs of wear.…
