Hardcover. Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. Very exceptional unfaded copy of the first official Swedish translation of The Hobbit. The pink color of the boards has remained exceptionally fresh, without the usual fading from sunlight. Original quarter green cloth with a color-printed illustration on the front board by Tove Jansson, the famous creator of the Moomins. The green cloth of the spine is also in excellent condition. Minor bumped spine ends and a few very small, hardly noticeable dents on the board edges are the only signs of wear. The binding is tight, and the pages are clean, with no names, inscriptions, or other markings. An outstanding, fine copy.

Minimal now dry moisture damage on a few pages (looks very slightly dented but has no damage. Has about 2 minor stains inside and some minor creases on a few pages Not written in single wear in the corners as usal.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Very good condition. The title page has a small piece pulled out probably from a previous stamp or something. Other than that, the condition is absolutely superb. Strong colors on the covers with tight binding completely fresh inside. Nothing written no stains. A little wear in the corners (back corner a pressure damage but all the material in the corners remains in all of them which is rare. Brilliant condition:) First edition illustrated by Tove Jansson and second swedish edition of the hobbit.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. Text in swedish. Second edition in swedish ever. The protective cover is missing its flaps and has previous marks from tape on the inside. The book has had some regluing in the back and a piece of one page on the front cover has some regluing. Has some marks from previous tape on the inside of the front board on the last page and the inside of the back board, i.e. the last page. Very indistinct stamping on title page and last page of library mostly gone. Also a stamp from the previous ex-libris stamp that was on.

Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. First edition with Tove Jansson illustrations. The condition is absolutely excellent. Has some slight tanning on top of front. On of the corners has been reglued back this is only a very small part though and all the corners are pointy which is incredibly scarce. Has some minor loss of the pink color in a few small places which can be seen on boards. All the pages are in great condition. Superb condition.

Has some tape on front of cover as seen leaving some marks Dome had been pulled of Making jr come off. En has also come off on cover. Wear to corners. Fresh inside with very small stains on certain pages illustrations in really good condition. First edition ever with Tove Janssons illustrations.

A little worn in the corners. Some slight scuffs. Slightly forward but still good in binding. By the way, I understand that this title is always slanted slightly forward, so I think it is also from the printing itself. A little sun bleached. The pages are fresh with no writing or stains. The ex-libris stiched note is 8× 5.5 cm and looks quite beautiful. Definitely good condition!

There is minor moisture damage on 10 pages at the beginning, also looks like a small stain at the beginning of the pages that is barely visible. Very small tear/ 0.5mm at the top of the dust jacket. An attractive edition. Given the importance of the Nordic influence on Tolkien's work, there is something reciprocal about the foremost illustrator of the region turning her hand to one of his most enduring works - and the results are delightful.
