This was his most popular book, going through several editions following its initial publication in 1907; offered here is the Second Edition from 1909, AND it is from the estate of a native Hawaiian medicine man/magician/medium/healer in San Diego who has passed to the other side . In 336 pages with Index, + 16 pages of ads for other titles in rear. Small octavo (5.5" x 8") in publisher's original tan cloth stamped & lettered in deep burgundy to front & spine. Condition is Fair, downgraded due to external flaws: several heavily rubbed areas with loss, both hinges show holes of unknown origin, exposing underlying webbing or the text block itself. But, the interior is VG+: very clean & completely unmarked save for lovely deco-style bookplate inside front cover. Binding strong & straight.
