Ex-Library copy, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages and plates remain bright and clear. End papers are more notably tanned. Hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with splitting, fraying and loss to the head, tail and joints. REar joint notably split. Gilt lettering has become dull. Boards have heavy damp and dust stains. Boards are bowed. Moderate tanning to spine.
