Werner, a Ukrainian born Jewish military writer who fled Russia and went to Germany and later France and the United States, argues 1943 was the year for an Allied invasion of France in coordination with a Soviet offensive in the east would force the Germans into fight on two fronts. Werner, thought that even if Allied troops did not reach Berlin the war's outcome would be clear enough to negotiate the end of the war. Good+ copy of the stated first edition. The printing on the spine is partially faded. 216 pages.
