Wright when he was appointed to the church in South Cerney , so much so that he published - An Account of the Advantage and Method of Watering Meadows by Art as practised in the County of Gloucester, 1789. Nine years later when he had been appointed to a church in Northamptonshire he published - On the Formation and Management of Floated Meadows, 1808.
