Original Brown Cloth Hardcover. Condition: Very Good Plus - Near Fine. Reprint. 1970. 32pp. "These short impressions of certain great men who lived during the first half of this century and who, I feel, are not all as widely known as they ought to be except within their own sphere of leadership, were broadcast by the B.B.C. in 'Lift Up your Hearts' during July 1951. They are printed here in their original form, which is very slightly larger than that as broadcast, and at the request of a large number of people." (Author's note) Signed by the author with incription to FFEP thus, "To David McMurray with best wiishes Ronald Selby Wright - Canongate 5 Dec 1975 (?) !". Minor bump to bottom of spine. The book is otherwise in excellent condition. There are no other inscriptions and all contents are tight and clean. Signed by the author.
