Paperback. Condition: new. Paperback. When Vivian Marsh is found dead, the scene looks like an accident. Jess Hollis has just read this story. The circumstances match Slack Water, the novel going around the book club at R&C Booksellers and two others on the street. He needs the one thing she has: the book the town is reading, and the places where the scene copies it and where it does not.Someone has already rewritten the story once. Jess is beginning to think they made a mistake. An Oakridge Harbor Mystery, Book Two. No gore, no profanity, one very good dog. This is a continuing series and is best read in order, beginning with Read and Buried. This item is printed on demand.
