This is the 1978 publication with brown boards and gilt type face on the spine. PLEASE NOTE: The reason for the lower "acceptable" rating is because there are tan stains to the top and side fore-edges along with a stain to the right edge of the front end paper and next three pages. A reading copy with no markings in the text. This copy is smyth sewn. Smyth sewing is a method of bookbinding where groups of folded pages (referred to as signatures) are stitched together using binder thread. Each folded signature is sewn together individually with multiple stitches and then joined with other signatures to create the complete book block. This is the traditional and best method of bookbinding.
