With the blessings of Almighty, as per my commitment in previous anthology, here is being presented "Quenchless Quest of Teen Girl", second collection of interesting poems, penned down during golden years of teenage and waiting eagerly since then for this wonderful day of publication, to be shared with all of you. It follows recently published anthology "Mystical Musings of a Teen Girl" which has been received well and admired by the voracious readers. Compiling this collection has been an amusing experience for me, no less than an inner journey while turning over pale pages of old diaries very carefully, having footnotes, reading poems almost forgotten curiously and facing challenging task of choosing the best ones for you. This entire process may be considered as being done by a person who has been witness to emotional turbulence, the teenager underwent while creating these poems and feeling creative fulfilment afterwards, as if a lot has been contributed for benefit of world through her verses. In these poems you will find the teenager, aspiring for self-identification, in quest of a hidden message in each and every object, whether it be animate or inanimate, diving deep into each and every moment of life to gain wisdom through firsthand experience. Several poems will seem inviting you to a treat for eyes and soul, spontaneously conjuring the picturesque hills, deep seas, running rivers, beautiful flower valleys, falling fountains and realms of greenery to glitter your minds. On the other hand, some poems will reveal deep concern over degeneration of moral values in human beings expressed in a symbolic way. Now it would be best to leave the rest up to you to explore yourself. I express my heartiest gratitude to my parents, teachers, special friends, relatives and my family members especially my life partner, Bharatendu Bhardwaj as well as my sons Samyantak and Kaustubh.

With sheer blessings of the Almighty, I am sharing "Mystical Musings of Teen Girl", which besides being a collection of soulful poems is a long awaited materialization of a dream, since they have been written, more than four decades ago during my teenage. This dream has been thriving inside me throughout these years, especially since my first collection of Hindi poems "Svar Lehriyan" and then second book "Anjuri Bhar Aas", which included poems penned down afterwards. The delay in bringing out this collection occurred due to my time consuming job, other liabilities and Hindi poetry. The thrilling process of compiling this heartfelt collection was no less than a journey back to my teenage years and reliving those blessed moments of creativity. I am visualising myself as a conduit, conveying to you whatever an innocent teen girl has expressed in her poems, who despite of being brought up in urban atmosphere, was blessed with great love for nature and human values which is reflected very frequently in these poems. Every poem seems to speak in its own unique voice, as if in a trance, making a shrine out of anything or any simple thought by rendering reverence to it and glorifying it with a sincere wish to see all becoming noble enough to make this world better.

The 21st century has been widely acclaimed as 'knowledge century era'. It has been well recognised that creation of knowledge primarily depends on some activities i.e. research and innovation which command more interest, enthusiasm, devotion and commitment from the human beings than others. When human beings immerse in these rigorous exercises, they devote very large portions of their thoughts, energies, and emotions at their end. The development of any nation depends to a large extent on the quality of researches conducted time to time. Quality of research further depends on human potential and availability of resources in the work place. In a country like India, researches are mostly conducted in the institutions of higher education, particularly at Universities and Research Institutes. Although higher education in India has expanded several times in terms of number of institutions and e nrolme nt of students since independence, but the issue of quality of research is a matter of serious concern. Research is an essential component of higher education. Research imparts excitement and dynamism to the educational process. There is a symbiotic relationship between the two. Quality and excellence should be the vision of every higher education institution and these must be reflected in the doctoral programme. The crucial beginning to a serious research pursuit is the doctoral programme. It is the programme in which young and inquisitive minds are trained to take up serious and exhaustive research. But, unfortunately, this ideal process exists more on paper than in practice in most of the universities. Quality manageme nt in doctoral re se arch programme means improving quality of courses, input, instructional processes, resources, management processes and structures, student support services, output and linkages with world of work.

Murals are painted on one side of wall or can be made on ceilings or floors. The Mural paintings or art work dates back to the time beyond the page of history or in other words we can say that there have been Murals on the walls throughout the world for as long as there have been people on the earth. In the grand collection of Punjab arts one name that deserves a mention is the Mural painting and Frescoes. These types of paintings are mainly done on permanent surfaces like, walls, ceilings, gates etc. Mural painting and frescoes are the main form of paintings flourishing in the state. In most of the villages of the Punjab huge gates have been painted with the images of the animals or scenes from the lives of Sikh Gurus like which canalso be seen in Baba Atal Rai shrine in Amritsar. The life story of the first Guru of Sikhs, Guru Nanak Dev ji has been captured using frescoes on the walls and ceiling of first floor of the shrine. The paintings depict stories from the Hindu epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata and other popular chapters of Indian history. Types of mural paintings: Mural paintings have different shapes and patterns. They can be seen in panel style in which designs are created withinsquares and rectangular panels. The corners are usually highlighted with brilliant contrasting colors for more spectacular effects. Repetitive style is another form of painting and generally used on columns and cornice surface. Flower designs are used in a repetitive pattern to cover large surface areas. The spread style consists of star shaped designs. It can also be combined with floral patterns and is usually seen on ceilings. The Mural painting in the 19th century Punjab covered a considerable range of the themes, fir example, the rich mural paintings and frescoes of the golden days. All such details can be found in different chapters of the book.

There could be many reasons for not eating well, like food insufficiency, poverty, gender biasness or simply lack of knowledge. FAO Nutrition Officer Peter Glasauer once said, "To be food secure, families need sufficient resources to produce or purchase adequate food, however, this does not guarantee good nutrition and health as we can see from the diet-related health problems among even more affluent population groups. People also need an understanding of what constitutes an appropriate diet for good health, and they must have the skills and motivation to make the best food choice available to them." In India despite impressive economic growth and self sufficiency in Agriculture, eradicating malnutrition among children remains a big challenge. In India at one hand we see obese kids while on the other hand children starve to death, in both the scenarios Nutrition Education can help people taking right kind and amount of Nutrition. Though the term Malnutrition remains synonym with poverty and lack of resources and to a great extent it is true but research studies worldwide have shown that lack of economic resources is not the only constraint. Several factors contribute to the nutritional status of population. The present work finds its backdrop and inspiration from Uttarakhand Himalaya, wherein an attempt has been made to teach the children Health and Nutrition education in an unconventional yet highly effective manner so that it may be proved as key instrument to prevent malnutrition. Making the children aware of the benefit of good health and nutrition at an early age is an investment that has incessant benefits. The result from the study will also help the policy makers to formulate low-cost-high-effect interventions in the child development and nutrition program.

The book is the culmination of the experiences gained while training 5000+ teachers under the Ministry of Education, Government of India s, Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching (PMMMNMTT) Faculty Development Centre in Cyber Security & Data Sciences, Shivaji University, Kolhapur. At the outset, the authors are therefore grateful to this unique educational and skill-building project, as it has national repercussions on safety and security. Prof. R. K. Kamat, the Principal Investigator and all the authors are proud to be associated with this noble objective. As the world becomes more interconnected, countries spend increasing amounts of money on cyber security. A lot of cyber-attacks have taken place recently, and it is estimated that they may cause up to US$ 2 Trillion in damage per year by 2021. For example, in May 2017, a ransomware attack called Wanna Cry affected over 300,000 computers in over 150 countries by encrypting users hard drives. This caused multiple industries to be disrupted, including banks, schools, hospitals and government agencies. Another example is the 2016 hack of the Democratic National Committee s e-mails which resulted in many controversies during the United States elections. Last year also saw Malaysia Airlines having many of its Twitter accounts hacked. The hacker group, Lizard Squad , claimed responsibility for these hacks and targeted other airlines such as Air Asia. These cyber-attacks have a considerable effect on the economy, and so there is a growing interest in cyber security. In particular, the manufacturing industry has a greater vulnerability to cyber threats as many industrial facilities are interconnected. Cyber-attacks can be especially harmful when they cause physical damage in factories, for example, when hackers take over the controls of a robotic arm or other machinery.

Climate change is not only affecting the fire season. In addition, it is affecting physical and mental health as well. Fire incidents are becoming common all over the world. Recently, during 2019-20 there was a huge fire in the forests of Australia, due to which forests spread over 1,86,000 square kilometers were burnt. Similarly, in 2019-20, a large area in the Amazon of Brazil was engulfed by fire. The fires in the western US and British Columbia in 2018 and 2020, as well as Canada in 2017-18, are prime examples. On the one hand, due to the changes in the climate, there is a continuous change in the rainfall pattern. At the same time, the incidence of drought is also increasing. At the same time, the global temperature is also increasing continuously. As a result of which trees, plants and vegetation are rapidly catching fire. Which is affecting not only biodiversity, but it is also affecting human health. While the death toll due to burns is increasing, the smoke emanating from it is affecting the body as well as the mind. Most of the forest fires are anthropogenic. Often the shepherds set fire to the forests to grow better fodder for the animals, but sometimes the fire goes out of control. Usually more than 90 percent of the incidents of forest fire in Uttarakhand are man-made, often by hill villagers sometimes in the adha (post-harvest waste of wheat), Kala Bansa (shrub growing in the forests) and sometimes in the forests of Uttarakhand.
