Red cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. 14ins x 10.25ins, viii, 652pp, lxviii (appendices) plus double page coloured map, 8pp plates (4 in colour). Also other illustrations within the text - all present as listed. The appendices include lists of the birds, fishes, molluscs, funghi, etc found in Norfolk. They were written by a number of people including J.H. Gurney. Title page quite heavily foxed. Front pastedown creased. Spine is a later replacement. Boards are probably original but are partially faded from being exposed to sun whilst next to smaller books. Corners worn. In short a complete copy, but not an attractive one. Contents G+. Exterior P to G. NB very heavy - very expensive t, 1884
