Condition: very good. Surrey : John M. Sullivan, 2007. Hardcover. Dustjacket. 96 pp. color illustrations ; 22 x 31 cm. - This book was conceived as a personal gift by the last Commanding Officer of an RAF Jaguar Squadron, to the personnel of Number 6 Squadron as a record, primarily through pictures, of their achievements in the…final year of the Jaguars service. Now available more widely, this book nevertheless remains a very personal, and thus unique, perspective on the closing of a chapter in RAF history; the retirement from service of the Jaguar after 33 years of stalwart performance on the front-line of the RAF as a ground attack fighter. The Jaguar is a very photogenic aeroplane, with a complementary blend of businesslike angles and shapely curves and this book follows the Jaguar, and the personnel who supported her, through training in the UK and detachments overseas. The Jaguar was never more at home than when flying fast and low, and many of the images in this book were donated by the legions of aviation enthusiasts who had ample opportunity to capture her in her element. The performance of the Squadron in its last year remained strong to the very end, testament to the dedication of the Jaguar Force personnel and their Jaguar Spirit. Enveloped in the cloak of Jaguar Force Excellence, they deserve the highest praise for their energy, commitment and loyalty. Condition : very good copy. ISBN 9780955724701. Keywords : AVIATION.

Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. Neuware - Hell just went digital.Book Two in the Adventures of Blue Shaefer.Did you ever wish you could escape to a virtual world What if you could.but then couldn't get out Two years after her deadly clash with a vengeful ghost, Fiona 'Blue' Shaefer still can't shake off the trauma of that night. Mo…ving to New York with her father didn't help. Neither did absorbing herself in her college classes. Not even her poetry provided the solace it once did. She convinces herself that ending her relationship with Eugene 'Chip' Farren, her long-distance boyfriend and final tie to the horrors of that night, might bring the closure she needs. Blue travels to Bloomington to break the news to Chip in person, but her timing couldn't be any worse. The Sisters of Baalina, vengeful cultists who practice a new form of 'techno-magic,' have targeted Chip's multi-player videogame as the perfect environment to cast a dangerous spell to free a demoness from the very pits of hell. In the process, their plan may trap Blue in a prison of the mind with no locks, no bars, and no escape. Wasson, Bonnie (illustrator).
