Brinjal shoot damage incidence was ranged from 2.25 (32th SMW) to 0.45 per cent (43th SMW) and recorded peak of 10.0 per cent shoot infestation at 37th SMW. The incidence of the fruit borer on the fruits started in 35th SMW coinciding with the setting of fruits.
