He married Sara Duncan on March 25, 1967, and together they have three children Mitchell, Meredith, and Sarah. They have eight grandchildren: Luke, Zander, Benjamin, Eli, Liam, Hadley, Piper and Scout. Dr. Ballew has had an extensive career as an electrical engineer in design, manufacturing, teaching, and consulting. He holds a B.S.E.E., M.S.E.E. and an earned doctorate all in electrical engineering. Prior to this book all other publications have been in the technical arena.
