But his full-scale dedication and ample talents aren't enough, and the big career break never materializes. As hope of ever achieving his dream fade, desperation and paranoia settle in. His drive to succeed turns into obsession and his motivation turns to revenge.Author Dwight York writes from experience. His stand-up comedy career has spanned more than 30 years. His struggles to remain relevant and earn a living have been lifelong. It's said that stand-up comedy is a brutal business and the "lucky break" is a requirement for success.
