A more recent edition of the work originally done in Berlin in 1930. From the the back cover: "'Tom' Seidmann-Freud was actually a very extraordinary woman! Martha Seidmann-Freud was the artist niece of Sigmund Freud and like her famous uncle, held her hown, very decided views. Over half a century ago, she designed a moveable book that would 'delight and surprise' full of games, stories, and ingenious ways for the reader to take part. Reproduced here as The Magic Boat, it still has "Tom" on the cover as she wished.".
