Translated by Ralph Manheim. Twelve page foreword by Theodore Ziolkowski. The boards have a little light edge wear. Page edges slightly browned. There is a trace of a price in pencil to the front free endpaper and the pages are slightly browned but otherwise unmarked. The jacket has a quarter inch closed tear at the top of the front panel, a one inch closed tear at the top of the rear panel, a one inch patch of surface damage near the bottom left corner of the rear panel where a label has been removed and there is some light surface discolouration. Jacket design by Keith Cunningham. First printing.

Quarter-bound turquoise cloth over brown boards, lettered in cream-white and gilt to spine. Covers show a bump and small scuff along the top edge of the front cover, a bump to the top of the spine, minor rubbing to corners. Bottom corner of rear cover shows discoloration. Pages show blue topstain, are clean and unmarked, very slightly tanned. Jacket design by David Holzman [priced $7.95 to front flap].
