(Konni) Zilliacus (then a "Member of Parliament for Gateshead") and published in 1946 by the British-Soviet Society out of London, England. A stapled pamphlet measuring 4-3/4"…by 7-1/8" and containing 36 pages including front and rear covers. Mr. Zilliacus begins by writing, "I believe that in the Anglo-Soviet Alliance we have a master-key to world peace. There are other keys. But this is the only one which we can grasp and turn with our own hands." Topics include: Broken Pledges; The Danube; Subservience to the U.S.A.; The Labour Party Report; The Need for Trust; Western Bloc; Atomic Energy; Mr. [Anthony] Eden; German Losses; Left or Right?; European Bases; Fascism ("It is mere political illiteracy to confuse Communism with Fascism"); [Georgi] Dimitrov; Greece; Trade. KONNI ZILLIACUS (1894-1967) was a left-wing, British Labour Party politician, often accused of Communist sympathies by his detractors.
