1963. (Hardcover) Very good plus in very good plus dust jacket. 231pp. Illustrations. The dust jacket is lightly edgeworn at the bottom of the spine. "Since its beginnings in the early sixteenth century, the almanac has been a source of practical knowledge, opinion, and entertainment that has been enjoyed by millions of people, whatever their occupation or philosophy. The comic almanac was a natural outgrowth of its more serious antecedent, although by today's standards it is difficult often to distinguish the travesty from the straight-faced original".
