Stahlfaserspritzbeton im jungen Alter (ab 10 Stunden) hat große Bedeutung für Tunnelschalen bezüglich deren Tragfähigkeit und deren Gebrauchsfähigkeit. Weil die Spritzbetonschale gerade nach den ersten Abschlägen, bezogen auf den aktuell vorhandenen Erhärtungsgrad, am stärksten beansprucht wird, kommen im jungen Alter die meisten Verbrüche vor.Um die realitätsnahe Entwicklung der Druckfestigkeit, des E-Moduls, der rheologischen Eigenschaften und des Verhaltens im Biegezugversuch (sowohl für Balken als auch für Platten) zu erfassen, erfolgten zahlreiche Untersuchungen an Labor- und Baustellenbetonen im möglichst jungem Alter.Die Untersuchung an der Verarbeitbarkeit, der Festigkeit und der Zähigkeit vom Selbst-Verdichtenden-Hochleistungsbeton (SCC-HPC) durch die Zugabe von Fasern (sowohl Stahlfasern als auch PP-Fasern) sind durchgeführt.Es wurde auch versucht, durch den Vergleich der technologischenEigenschaften bei unterschiedlichen Faserdosierungen einen wirksamen und auch wirtschaftlichen Bereich des Fasergehaltes des Stahlfaserbetons zu ermitteln. Der Faserverlust wegen Rückprall beim Trocken- und Nassspritzverfahren wurde analysiert und ermittelt.Neben dem bekannten Biegezugverfahren (Kraft - Durchbiegung) gemäß DBV-Merkblatt wurden Untersuchungen an Balken aus Stahlfaserbeton mit verschiedenen Fasergehalten und Fasertypen nach RILEM Recommendation (Kraft-Rissöffnung) und EFNARC durchgeführt. Der Einfluss der Faseranzahl und des Faserabstandes auf das Nachbruchverhalten wurde untersucht. Die Stahlfaserverteilung im Balkenquerschnitt wurde durch die FE Methode dargestellt.Die Relation zwischen der Balkendurchbiegung und der Rissöffnung ist nachgewiesen.
