Edge wear, chipping and small loss to top and bottom of jacket and spine, 2" creased closed tear to top of front jacket, corners rubbed, spine slightly sunned. Not price clipped, no inscriptions, internally clean tight and square, overall a vg copy for its age. 392pp. The third book in Stephen Donaldson epic and acclaimed First Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever. Twice before Thomas Covenant had been summoned to the strange other-world where magic worked. Twice he had been forced to join with the Lords of Revelstone in their war against Lord Foul, the ancient enemy of the Land. Now he is back ż to a Land ravaged by the armies of Lord Foul. Dust jacket with slight fading to spine, else Fine. The dust jacket is a particularly attractive example, both in condition and in Wyeth's wrap-around design. The scene depicts a storm brewing offshore, heading to stately waterfront house, evoking the tension in this mystery novel. Dust jacket now enclosed in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
