Inscribed and signed by the author on the inside front board: "To Miss Deborah E-- / From Old Cowboy Ed Wright / Good Luck. / Hope you enjoy the book." The author's Valley Center address stamp on the title page and inside back board. Valley Center turned out to be the "End of the Trail," as his tombstone there reads. Wright (1881-1975) was a colorful rodeo rider and later rodeo clown. A former owner has written "page 40" on the table of contents page, and marked the first paragraph on that page (referring to a C. M. Russell drawing); otherwise unmarked; corners sharp, spine ends bumped; no dust jacket; Mylar protected. Signed by Author(s).
