NOT ex-library. Hardcover has red cloth-covered boards with black spine lettering. Black & white illustrations by Phillips E. Osgood. 316 pages. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Spine ends very lightly bumped. Covers have a few very faint smudges. Bottom front corner lightly bumped. Imprinted bookplate on front endpaper. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. Pages clean and unmarked. One page has a half-inch tear at the fore edge that does not effect the text. Dust jacket has overall surface rubbing, chipped and nicked edges, and small tears. Dust jacket is NOT price clipped. Carefully packed, shipped in a box. signed by author.
