Seller: Space Age Books LLC, Conroe, TX, U.S.A.
Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. Originally serialized as "Fury" in Astounding magazine in 1945, this publication -- Avon T-275 -- is the first paperback edition, and the first publication under the alternate title "Destination Infinity". Though credited solely to Henry Kuttner, this novel was actually co-written with Catherine L. Moore. This collectible copy of Avon T-275 is in near fine condition, marred only by slight spine lean, a small, very shallow indent on the front cover, and some faint smudges inside the front cover (which do not affect the front page.) Also noted is a binding wrinkle in the spine, as published. It appears unread and presents "as new". The binding is tight, with no reading creases in the spine or hinges. Covers are bright (neither toned nor faded), unmarked and unworn. Pages are unmarked and unworn, with unfaded publisher's yellow edge stain around edges of the text block. As with all Space Age Book purchases, I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its proud new owner in the same condition as my description. Bibliographic note: the copyright page says, "Special contents of this edition copyright ? 1956", but per Currey it was published in 1958.
