Dark green textured covers with ribbed spines and gilt letterting on spines. Upper corners are bumped and several are bent, and some bottom corners are slightly bumped. Covers generally have some scuffing and some staining around edges. Some ends of the spines are worn and have some tears and fraying, and Vol. 3 has a large scrape and a small tear along front edge of spine. Vol. 3 and 5 have some wear at the upper corners (missing some fabric), and Vol. 4 has some nicks and scrapes along upper edges of both covers. Top edges of pages are gilt-covered, and side and bottom edges are marbled. Vol. 3, 4 and 5 have waviness on most pages, and some wrinkling along the upper parts. Some pages have spotting or foxing.
