Hardcover. Condition: Fair. First Edition. Hardback, wrapper is quite rubbed and worn with loss to upper and lower edges and some creasing and tears, there is also some significant spotting. It is now in a clear removable protective sleeve. There is a gift inscription to the half title page, no other inscriptions. Illustrated, a… couple of the plates have some spotting to edges. Endpapers are spotted and there is some spotting to edge of text block but not so bad internally. A reference or study copy only, some of the plates would look nice framed! Heavy book, will require additional postage outside the UK.

Condition: Very Good. First edition hard back binding in publisher's original moss green cloth covered boards, blocked and lettered in dark green to the spine and front cover. 4to. 11'' x 9¼''. Contains 100 pp with 16 full-page illustrations from original dry-points and etchings by Winifred Austen. A little dry white powdery dam…p stain marks along the bottom edges of the front and rear boards, contents not affected, ink message dated 1939 inside. Very Good condition book in Good condition dust wrapper with chips and tears to the edges, not price clipped, 15s. Dust wrapper supplied in archive acetate film protection. Member of the P.B.F.A.
