Hardcover: H 20.75cm x L 14cm. No dust jacket. Yellowish-orange cloth with light soiling. Foxing to text block edges with some leaves affected at margins; endpapers mildly foxed too - interior leaves are otherwise clean. Binding retains some crispness. Else a very good+ copy. The book was completed in 1914 by Louisiana Tabasco heir Edward A. McIlhenny with much of its original text written by Charles L. Jordan, a turkey hunter and Hammond, Louisiana game preserve manager who was murdered by a poacher in 1909. Dr. Robert W. Shufeldt contributed two chapters "The Turkey Prehistoric" and "The Turkey Historic" on pages 26-103.
