"George Wilson: His life and work 1907-1984", escrita por su esposa Lela. Los Wilson visitaron CANARIAS en tres ocasiones.… La información sobre Canarias que la viuda del pintor ofrece en su biografía, resulta particularmente interesante por varias razones: por ser un testimonio de nuestro presente, pues los hechos relatados van de 1952 a 1982; porque los datos aportados configuran el estado de la cultura en Canarias y sus agentes, especialmente de la pintura en el periodo consignado; y por último el documento refleja la percepción del paisaje canario, con una sensibilidad que atiende a la luz, a lo agreste y atormentado del paisaje volcánico y al vértigo de los acantilados, con la óptica pictórica propia de un artista plástico.
