Sein bekanntestes Werk ist das Konzertstück Swedish Rhapsody für Klavier und Orchester, das von vielen großen US-Orchestern gespielt und in dem MGM-Film Madame X (1966) verwendet wurde. Unter dem Pseudonym Charles Wildman arbeitete er gelegentlich an internationalen Filmprojekten. Von 1975 bis 1980 leitete er die Abteilung für Unterhaltungsmusik beim RIAS in Berlin und war ab 1981 Gastdirigent beim Norddeutschen Rundfunk in Hannover.…
