Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Illustrated by Bess Goe Willis (illustrator). Hardcover in original boards. No dust jacket. 4to. Early printing. Blue boards have light wear at top and bottom of spine and at corners, and few faint spots on front. Imprinted on front is a picture of a running rabbit, along with the title in black. Former owner's name inked onto front free endpage and dated 1944; another name is inked onto second free endpage. Interior pages are crisp and clean and unmarked, with vivid color illustrations throughout, including a full-page color frontispiece. Title page has short closed tear at bottom. A handsome volume. 62 pp.

Condition: FAIR. 1935 HC. Moderate edgewear w/exposed boards/corners. Original art pasted to red cloth. Reinforced binding a little wobbly. Some ink/pencil in text & inside both boards, couple pgs chipped. The illustrations are still quite lovely.
