Rare Deans Little Poppet Series Book, number 38. 20 pp. Dan the duck finds a car in his pond one morning and he and his friend Daisy pull it out, dry it off and try to go for a ride but the car ends up being moody, changing it's colors and running away when Dan says he's going to lock it up in his garage, when he does, the car breaks out and takes off. They find it again through the forest grapevine where the car is, go for another ride and get dumped again. After much thought they figure out what they said to upset the little auto and when it returns later that night, Dan puts it in the garage and leaves the doors open. The car is happy not being confined and they all live happily ever after.
