First edition in English, 4to., viii, 224 pp., device on title, light browning to tile and occasionally elsewhere, contemporary half calf gilt, morocco label, lightly rubbed, a very good copy. travel2023 Sangermano, a missionary, worked in Burma from 1783 to 1806. His book provides a good description of Burma at that time. This English translation of 1833 is sought after. Mary Richardson Currer is probably the best-known woman book collector of the nineteenth century. Her books are generally in very attractive condition.
