A letter declining involvement on a committee on "Combination of Capital and Labour". William Edward Forster 1818-1886 was an English industrialist, philanthropist and Liberal Party statesman and Forster was appointed Vice-president of the Council, with the duty of preparing a government measure for national education. Levi Leone, 1821-1888. English jurist and statistician. His chief work, History of British Commerce and of the Economic Progress of the British Nation, 1763-1870, is considered to be a partisan account of British economic development.
