Some scattered spots of light soiling; Index section's title page has two small chips at its fore-edge margin; interior pages overall remain quite clean. Binding is firm. Numerous b/w plates along with b/w foldout "A Chart of the Aintree Race Course" by George Annand bound-in immediately preceding Index section. A good copy in a good+ slipcase.
