Many of the pictures are of a high quality and the Loco's and locations are spread out around Britain. The years covered are mostly the 1950's and 1960's. Just looking at the attire worn brought back many memories. It is certainly a book that will appeal to people of those times but it has a wider appeal also, it gives a sketch of the times to anyone not old enough to have been there. It is possible that some of the photo's might show you if you were at any of the locations. This book is lavishly illustrated with archive photographs and many from private collections, some published here for the first time.
