These issues - illustrated with several woodcut prints by Mimi Ward and Gail Borgquist - include writings by Pablo Neruda, Rene Char, Lyn Lifshin, Margaret Atwood, Sam Cornish, Peter Wild, James Bertolino, Hugh Fox, Susan Musgrave, and many others. Both 7" x 10" softcover books, saddle-stapled in decorated card wraps. 52/80pp. with illustrations in black and white. Pages clean bright and unmarked, with sound bindings. Books from the collection of a tobacco smoker, with attendant mild tanning to spines and a very faint aroma of smoke inside. Very little shelfwear on these to speak of, excepting some tiny nicks to covers' edges and trivial spots. Overall very good condition.

Original 128 page shooting script with blue and pink re-write pages. Bradbound in printed yellow studio wrappers. This script belonged to distinguished Mexican actor Alfonso Arau who played Herrera, the Lieutenant of General Malpache (Emilio Fernandez). Arau has boldly written ÒALFONSO ARAU - HERRERA in large letters at the top of the front cover in black ink. In the lower right hand corner of the front wrapper, Arau has written in red ink the name of ÒLonnie BeckerÓ who was the filmÕs casting director in Mexico. Very good set used script. Enclosed in a custom morocco and cloth clamshell box. Sam PeckinpahÕs masterpiece, The Wild Bunch is considered by many to be among the greatest of western films. The picture contains career highlight performances by William Holden, Ernest Borgnine, Robert Ryan, Edmond O'Brien, Warren Oates, Jaime Sanchez, Ben Johnson, Emilio Fernandez, Strother Martin, L. Q. Jones, Albert Dekker, Bo Hopkins, Dub Taylor, Jorge Russek, and Alfonso Arau. This screenplay was nominated for an Academy Award. The finished film has been chosen by the American Film Institute as one of the 100 outstanding American films.
