A commemorative book celebrating the centennial of the Welches, Oregon, post office, in 2005, with additional material about the history of the area around Welches, at the foot of Mount Hood. The book consists of photocopies of article, resolutions, correspondance, and the like, wi…th many copies in color. Some of the pages are decorated with original postage stamps, some cancelled with the official Welches Centennial postmark and one with the Oregon Sesquicentennial postmark (hence dating the book). Approximately 100 leaves. Limited to 15 numbered copies, signed by White with initials. A unique local history publication. First edition. Near fine in faux suede covers which are soft and slightly bowed. Signed by White on the rear pastedown. OCLC records one copy in a local public library.
