Typed letter signed, about 60 words, declining an invitation to a party at the Harvard Club. [With]: a four-page Harper & Row promotional brochure illustrated with a photographic portrait of E. B. White, a biographical sketch, and a very interesting two-page printed letter addressed to "Dear Friends, telling "how I came to write 'Charlotte's Web," concluding, "A book is a sneeze." P. [4] promotes Charlotte's Web and Stuart Little, quoting P. L. Travers' review.
