Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Original small hardcover in jacket, first UK edition, 255 pages, index, there are many chessboard small illustrations. Overall, book is bright and solid with attractive, bright red and black decorative cloth boards. Has some light reference wear; che…ss-related store sticker on front endpaper. Jacket is bright in protective mylar sleeve; there is some light wear, small chips/tears along edges; small creases, but jacket is quite presentable. Book came from a respected tournament player and some of the books in his collection had clean markings in text or margins. While very limited, they appear in some of the books. I could not find any in this copy, but there may be some stray ones. Very nice overall. gc2.
