Anthology of California-inspired poems gathered into three groups: Spain and Mexico, Days of the 'Forty-nine, and San Francisco. Poets include Ambrose Bierce, Bret Harte, Gelett Burgess, Bayard Taylor and Joaquin Miller. A very attractive little volume.
