Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Tanning to spine and edges. Light wear to unclipped dust jacket with tears, nicks and creases to spine, edge and corners. Jacket edges have been trimmed.

Nach siebenjährigem Studium wurde er 1934 am Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati, Ohio, zum Rabbiner ordiniert und erwarb gleichzeitig einen Bachelor-Abschluss an der University of Cincinnati. 1956 promovierte er am Burton College and Seminary in Colorado und studierte außerdem am Colorado State College of Education und an der Harvard Chaplain School. 1959 erhielt er die Ehrendoktorwürde (Doctor of Divinity, honoris causa) vom Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion., Martin M.
